lately, we've been traveling, alot and as we watch the miles go by we are awestruck by the fascinating scenery that we are privileged to perceive, reminded constantly of the ever changing nature of the earth.

Z is not just the end of the alphabet

Z is the first letter of a term that describes a mineral group that has some very energetic stones included in it. These are stones or rather mineral types that have unique properties. Yet another way to connect with the earth, learning more about this group of minerals can be very fulfilling. Zeolites are popular for collectors and healers. "They combine rarity, beauty, complexity and unique crystal habits. Typically forming in the cavities, or vesicles, of volcanic rocks "basalt", zeolites are the result of very low grade metamorphism." Zeolite crystals have even been grown on board the space shuttle and are undergoing extensive research into their formation and unique properties. Some examples found in this group are prehnite, apophyllite, gyrolite, okenite, natrolite, and stilbite. Many like to use the healing effects of zeolites. Properties will vary from mineral to mineral. For example clear apophyllite is used to bring us spiritual consciousness, while heulandite allows us to understand that all limits are in the mind, and stilbite aids psychic knowing, guidance and direction. connections

Have you ever had the urge to kick off your shoes and dance in the rain? That's your inner child telling you to get back in touch with the earth. The connection we had as a child running barefoot through the puddles during a summer shower can be as fulfilling as we grow older. And what about that special feeling when you hold a 'pretty rock', you may think that you found the rock but it is more likely the rock has found you. Your subconscious heard it's call and you saw it and picked it up. Studies have shown that our inner selves have an energy that vibrates just like the energy in the stones we like.

Mother earth is a living being, she is constantly growing and changing. Some of us feel her energy, while others overlook the connection and will not let her energy enter their bodies. They wonder, "Why is it I have this feeling like there's something missing in my life?" All they really need to do is open their mind, feel the energy, feel the connection. If we all remember to do this then we all will lead much more fulfilling lives, for we will be satisfied with that which we have and worry less over what we don't.
